This isn't a bashing, more of an informational piece for you or anyone if they are unaware of what I'm about to explain. In addition to helping safely eject flash drives and external drives, I like the ability to apply pictures to the drive images, see information about them, etc. USB Safely Remove is a very useful program. Anvir Task Manager asked me if I wanted to allow the USB Safely Remove startup item too, which I approved. ![]() ![]() Then, the installation worked well and I now have the new version registered without issue. No luck.Įventually, I found out that Zemana AntiLogger was blocking the installation! I opened Zemana, scrolled to the latest Rule and chose to allow USB Safely Remove setup (it was marked as blocked). I carefully followed the instructions, and even attempted space removals, etc. I tried entering the new key to see if that would let it update, but it said it is not valid. It went right to the GAOTD "successfully activated" dialogue box. Then, I tried to run the installation for 5.3.8, and nothing changed. I have version 5.2.4 on my Windows 7 32-bit laptop. ![]()
